Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week with rotating day, evening, and night shifts. Flexible scheduling that may include weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback duties.

Job Description

Join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) at a state-of-the-art facility, managing over 100,000 visits annually and recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a Level I trauma hospital, we cater to a diverse patient population and require skilled professionals to assist with patient care and manage boarder patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Assist with boarder patients and manage critical care scenarios.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and respond to patient needs promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Previous travel Emergency Room experience is essential.
• Certifications:
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification required.
