Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and have substantial experience in managing laboring patients, including both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal exams and manage the care of laboring patients
• Circulate C-Sections and provide post-operative recovery care
• Monitor fetal health and manage obstetrical emergencies
• Care for high-risk antepartum patients, including those with gestational hypertension and diabetes
• Assist with newborn care within the first hour of life, including breastfeeding support
• Conduct outpatient testing including NST, CST, and BPP

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active California RN License
• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Expertise in fetal monitoring and rapid response to obstetrical emergencies
