Radiotherapy Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5 x 8 hours (Monday through Friday) day shift with a start time between 0700 and 0800.

Job Description

We are seeking two Radiotherapy Technologists to support our Radiation Oncology department. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires collaboration with various healthcare team members to optimize treatment delivery and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques.
• Perform patient assessments during direct interaction and make necessary referrals.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart checks, room set-up, and calculations.
• Conduct patient set-up and CT scanning for treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate with other radiation therapists and team members for additional tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
• Must have ARRT certification and California RTT license.
• Current BLS certification required.
