Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours with rotating start times of 5 AM, 7 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM, working every other weekend. There are no call or holiday requirements aside from one major holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse with extensive experience in a high-paced, critical care environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse patient population, ensuring superior patient experience and nursing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and managing patient care in a high-volume emergency department.
• Triage and treat patients presenting with various medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records using EPIC.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current California RN license.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in emergency nursing.
• Prior travel experience is preferred; candidates with significant ED experience will be considered.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Strongly preferred: CEN, TNCC, and 3-5 years of emergency experience, including trauma and pediatrics.
