Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing quality patient care to a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage patient flow and prioritize care based on patient needs.
• Perform assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work at least 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
