Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Days - 12HR: 3A-3P / 7A-7P rotation, with a requirement of 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts will involve one shift per contracted week or two shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday must be worked during the contract.

Job Description

The Emergency Department is a large, high-acuity unit featuring 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. The team is composed of experienced, collaborative, and supportive professionals, with strong leadership focused on providing high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area’s first ACEP accredited Geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Assist in specialized geriatric emergency care initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York State RN license.
• NIH certification.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
