Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced Emergency Department, providing care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include assessment and management of patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac events.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Perform critical assessments and interventions for acutely ill patients.
• Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and evaluate care plans.
• Ensure all certifications and compliance measures are maintained.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience.
• Current and active RN License in New York.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC required in hand).
• NURSYS Report for license verification with active status for all RN licenses.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required.
