Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend requirements every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures in a Labor and Delivery unit, providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in Epic charting system.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is highly desirable.
• Ability to float to nearby affiliate hospitals as required.
