Schedule

Night and Day shifts available: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00 and 07:00 - 19:00). Weekend shifts typically required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a high-acuity adult Emergency Department. The nurse will take responsibility for patient care in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients. This position involves working in ED holding and floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a high-acuity emergency setting.
• Conduct triage assessments and manage multiple patients effectively.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and monitor patients for changes in condition.
• Provide trauma care and assist with STEMI and stroke protocols when necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Washington State RN license (or Compact license).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Strong skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.
