Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Tele department, you will be responsible for providing optimal patient care through comprehensive nursing services. This role involves utilizing your knowledge and skills to ensure individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. You will be tasked with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions, while also coordinating care with other professionals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document care provided and report any significant changes in patient condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience required.
• Current NV RN license required prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Must pass telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythms strips.
