Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in providing high-quality patient care in a Neuro unit with a focus on general medicine and neurology. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork approach and prioritize patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Neuro unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and implement care plans for neurological disorders.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in emergencies and provide support during critical situations.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on neuro preferred.
• Current RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Ability to float to other units as required.
