Surgical Tech - Ambulatory OR

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an ambulatory surgical setting. The ideal candidate will work primarily in the Main OR and may be required to float to nearby affiliate hospitals. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures and the ability to provide effective support to the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the ambulatory OR setting.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs before, during, and after the procedure.
• Participate in patient care before and after surgical procedures according to protocols.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a surgical setting.
• Valid California State License required; pending licenses accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other departments or affiliate hospitals as needed.
