Operating Room RN - Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho Experience Required

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:00), with a possibility of covering one night shift as needed.

Job Description

This position requires an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a strong background in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases. The nurse will work in an acute care hospital setting, responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho specialties.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments effectively.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in code responses as needed.
• Document all nursing care and procedures accurately in the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
• Must possess a current RN license in California.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
