Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:30 AM - 06:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

The Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting. The RN will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Accessing and managing ports for medication administration.
• Administering chemotherapy and monitoring patient responses.
• Educating patients and families on treatment plans and care protocols.
• Recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values.
• Floating among clinics and partnering with specific tumor groups for care continuity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient oncology experience.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification is required; OCN is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
