Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide essential rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess, evaluate, and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques including AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, and gait training.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Current California Physical Therapist license must be in hand.
