Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation

Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, the Physical Therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide patient care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs by providing a positive learning environment and supervision.
• Create and actively pursue a professional development plan.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Understand organizational performance improvement methodologies and follow through with action plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Outpatient experience is required.

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8.0 work schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
