Physical Therapist - Days - Stockton, CA

Job Description

The Physical Therapist implements patient rehabilitation programs aimed at improving patient mobility, function, and strength.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Guide and monitor patient care in all treatment aspects and follow-up.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides regarding patient care.
• Communicate with physicians and team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient chart information and follow-up regarding prescriptions and test results.
• Assist with scheduling and patient follow-up in coordination with front office staff.
• Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns.
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes when necessary.
• Comply with HIPAA policies and procedures regarding patient privacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California or plans to test soon.
• Continuing education courses preferred.

Schedule

This position operates during day shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
