Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

Join our dynamic nursing team on a stepdown/medsurg unit currently under construction, set to open in the first quarter of 2026. This flexible unit serves both floor and step-down patients, focusing on a diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to patients with various medical conditions.
• Manage a patient load of up to 6 patients on the floor or 3 patients in step-down.
• Titrate drips as per physician orders for medications including Heparin, Insulin, Anti-hypertensives, etc.
• Utilize EPIC system for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with Clinical Associates to ensure optimal patient care.
• Prepare for and manage necessary equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) is mandatory.
• EPIC experience is a must.
• Experience working in a stepdown or med-surg unit preferred.
