Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including required drips and medications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Demonstrate charge capability as needed; floating to other units may be required.
• Utilize specialty equipment, including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun, as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, with pediatric experience preferred.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Completion of TNCC is mandatory.
• New York RN license must be active and verified via NURSYS report.
• EMR experience, specifically with EPIC, is required.
• Must provide a valid driver's license with an address matching submission demographics.
