Emergency Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality emergency care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and stabilizing patients in the emergency room, coordinating patient care, and effectively communicating with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize patients in the emergency room.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team.
• Provide effective communication with staff, patients, and families.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of growth and development to individualize the plan and delivery of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid and current New York State RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine required.
• Ability to perform CPR and meet physical requirements of the position.

Schedule

This position requires three 12-hour shifts per week from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for 8 to 13 weeks.
