ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Hilo, Hawaii.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible regarding various shift lengths and days. No holiday RTO requests will be accepted.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide medical-surgical level care to patients aged 18 and older. The role may require floating to surgical pediatric or transitional care units as needed. Equipment utilized includes Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, chest tubes, among others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with various procedures as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or a higher level of care is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Must possess an active State of Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
