ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Hilo, Hawaii.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between various medical-surgical units, providing care to a diverse patient population. The role requires proficiency in Meditech EMR and use of various medical equipment including Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Provide support in various medical and surgical units as needed.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Hawaii RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are preferred.
