ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Variable Shift) in Hilo, Hawaii.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible with various shift lengths and days.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide medical-surgical level care to patients aged 18 and over. The position may require floating to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units. Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage care plans.
• Utilize electronic health records and other relevant equipment as needed.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or a higher level of care.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Must possess an active State of Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.
