ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Adult Echocardiography (Day Shift) in Ranson, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

5 eight-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend call rotation required from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Job Description

The Registered Cardiac Sonographer will work primarily at Jefferson but may be required to float to other locations, including Berkeley Medical Center and outpatient clinic sites. The role involves conducting transthoracic echocardiograms and documenting findings in the EPIC system. The typical daily workload consists of approximately six outpatient studies and two inpatient studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiogram studies on outpatient and inpatient populations.
• Document findings using the EPIC and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with the cardiologist regarding patient findings and further recommendations.
• Start IVs if capable; otherwise, seek help as needed.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cardiac sonographer.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required within 12 months of hire.
