Schedule/Shift

4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM weekdays, with on-call duty every 5th weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as CKD, CAD, PAD, and strokes. The RN will be responsible for managing and executing special procedures such as angiograms, fistulograms, TAVRs, and mechanical thrombectomies while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This position will utilize the Cerner charting system and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments.
• Perform and monitor procedural sedation.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner.
• Manage emergency situations as they arise.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
