ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Night Shift) in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The CT Technologist will coordinate and participate in all computerized tomography scanning procedures, ensuring quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor CT equipment while applying proper patient positioning and safety measures.
• Collect and verify patient identification, including obtaining vital information related to allergies and medical history.
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously as protocol requires.
• Develop and record images for patient files, ensuring compliance with department guidelines.
• Organize daily patient schedules in collaboration with the work-room technician.
• Perform daily calibration and quality control of imaging equipment.
• Capture, store, and transfer electronic images while maintaining the highest image quality standards.
• Monitor patients for potential allergic reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies, including administering CPR when necessary.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment and maintain inventory levels of supplies.
• Assist Radiologists and physician specialists during specialized procedures and provide training for new personnel as needed.
• Contribute to quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT scanning.
• Experience with Phillips equipment is required.
• Traveler experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Michigan licensure verification is required for candidates.
