Schedule/Shift

Shifts are 8 hours, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with 2-3 weekends per month required.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners and perform imaging procedures for patients of various age groups, including adults and geriatrics. This role is situated primarily in an outpatient facility, with some weekend shifts at the main hospital. You will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, administering contrast media, and ensuring the quality of images for diagnostic purposes. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and familiarity with Epic charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging and ensure their comfort during the procedure.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the administration of contrast media.
• Maintain equipment and assist in quality assurance processes.
• Document procedures and results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a CT Technologist role.
• Experience in inpatient, emergency room settings, and Level 1 trauma units.

Certifications/Licensure

• MUST be CT Certified and ARRT Registered.
• Current state license as required.
• BLS certification is not required.
