Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The nurse will assist with patient positioning, sterilization, and monitoring during operations, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
- Assist the surgical team in various capacities as required.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room's sterile environment.
- Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.
Required Experience
A minimum of 3 years of general Operating Room experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
