This position requires a 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room to join our team. The RN will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating in various surgical specialties, including robotics, orthopedic, neurology, and general surgeries. The nurse will specifically need to scrub in one of the following areas: neuro spine, total joint, or robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate assessments of patients spanning across all stages of growth and development.
• Deliver competent nursing care and support patient care delivery through clinical skills.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation in compliance with established guidelines and policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to continuous clinical and professional growth.
• Promote patient and family satisfaction through effective communication and respect for privacy.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols, including the use of two patient identifiers and safe transfer techniques.
• Utilize knowledge of surgical procedures and patient conditions to tailor individual care plans.
• Participate actively in pre-operative and post-operative patient education and assessments.
• Support the completion of Patient Admission Testing (PAT) and evaluate orders for completeness and appropriateness.

Required Experience

Candidates must have proven experience in a surgical setting with demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in the required specialties.

Certifications / Licensure

A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required to practice in this role.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
