ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Hospice (Night Shift) in Brunswick, Maine.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Week 1 is Day Shift (8 AM - 4:30 PM) for home visits, while Week 2 is Night Shift (4:30 PM - 8 AM) for work-from-home duties including making and taking calls.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this hospice role will be responsible for case managing 14-18 patients, with an expectation of conducting 5-6 home visits per day. The position will involve using in-home infusion pumps but will not require the management of ventilators or invasive monitoring. Documentation will be managed via the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits for patient assessments and care.
• Manage a case load of 14-18 patients, ensuring appropriate care and communication.
• Utilize in-home infusion pumps correctly.
• Document patient interactions and updates in the EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in hospice or a related field.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license for the state of Maine.
• BLS certification is required.
