ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Hospice (Rotating Shifts) in Brunswick, Maine.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule includes four shifts per week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Week 1 consists of Day Shift (8 AM - 4:30 PM) for home visits, while Week 2 includes Night Shift (4:30 PM - 8 AM) for work from home, including making and taking calls.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Hospice will be responsible for managing a caseload of 14-18 patients, providing high-quality patient care through home visits, and performing assessments and evaluations consistent with hospice protocols. Essential duties include utilizing agency equipment such as a laptop and iPhone, and documenting patient interactions using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 14-18 patients based on acuity, with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day.
• Perform assessments and provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes.
• Document interactions and care provided using the EPIC EMR system.
• Self-schedule visits and maintain communication with the hospice team.
• Utilize in-home infusion pumps (no ventilators or invasive monitoring).

Required Experience

Two years of experience in nursing, preferably in hospice, home health, or a related field.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
