ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide critical care to patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. The RN will be part of a team managing diverse patient diagnoses and will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage dysrhythmias and administer IV vasopressors.
• Perform central line care and management.
• Provide BiPAP/CPAP management and care for ventilated patients.
• Implement isolation precautions and appropriate PPE.
• Conduct triage assessments.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with prior charge experience preferred.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Pennsylvania nursing license or compact license in hand.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
