Schedule/Shift

Schedule consists of 3 night shifts per week, specifically 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

In this role, you will be providing critical care to patients in the Emergency Department. The position requires managing a patient ratio of 1:3 while utilizing the Cerner charting system. You'll be working in an interdisciplinary team that includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care across various age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with dysrhythmias, IV vasopressor management, and care for ventilated patients.
• Follow isolation precautions and utilize PPE in patient management.
• Participate in the triage process for incoming patients.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
