ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, MS/Tele (Night Shift) in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shifts for this position are 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15, with weekend coverage every other week. Candidates must be available to work every other holiday.

Job Description

This Registered Nurse position in the MS/Tele unit involves providing care to adult patients, primarily in a telemetry monitoring setting. The nurse will work closely with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy, among others. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner or equivalent charting systems.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of previous charge experience in a nursing role.
• Experience managing patient ratios of 6 patients per nurse.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Active PA or Compact license required at submission.
