ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Florence, South Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

4x12s, Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required. On-call required as needed for low census.

Job Description

Join a 12-bed medical surgical unit with telemetry capabilities, serving a diverse patient population. The staffing plan supports normal ratios of 1:6, with the possibility of flexing to 1:7 due to unplanned absences. The unit is equipped with various interdisciplinary support teams, including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams, facilitating a well-rounded patient care environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes in Epic.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with typical medical surgical diagnoses.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations when required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and manage dysrhythmias.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical or telemetry nursing role preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
