Day Shift: 08:00 - 16:30, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be part of a 253-bed acute care hospital, serving a diverse patient population. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients within the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, providing therapy interventions to enhance recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote progress and recovery.
• Utilize mobility equipment and ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain documentation through the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience

• Valid Florida PT license.
• MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university.
• Acute care experience is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

Must hold a valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
