Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform routine and specialized CT scans per radiologist protocols and function independently without supervision. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine CT scanning and advanced imaging as per protocols.
• Assist in performing procedures such as biopsies or drainages.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and demonstrate proficiency with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation.
• Adhere to safety standards and follow infection control procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of two years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with venipuncture and CT imaging procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
