Job Description

The Computed Tomography Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing CT scans in accordance with established radiologist protocols. The candidate will work independently, conducting routine CT scans and assisting in additional imaging procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as directed by radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Adhere to all health protocols and documentation requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.
• Familiarity with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, and procedures like biopsies or vascular imaging is a plus.
