Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography is responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. The candidate must independently operate CT equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing exceptional patient care in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine CT scans per radiologist protocols.
• Function independently without supervision in a clinical environment.
• Perform venipuncture and assist with various imaging procedures, including biopsies and drainages.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation efficiently.
• Engage in imaging for vascular, cardiac, trauma, or stroke cases as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is mandatory.
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for medical or religious exception.
