Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform CT scans in an acute hospital setting, following protocols provided by radiologists. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively manage patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols.
• Manage patient care and ensure patient safety.
• Function independently without supervision.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and work with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation.
• Perform procedures such as venipuncture and assist with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Engage in various procedures including biopsies or drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging as needed.

Required Experience

A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approval for medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date.
