Schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Holiday rotation applies.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires experience in a Level I Trauma Center and familiarity with cases in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination processes for surgical instruments.
• Assemble and wrap instruments according to established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet their needs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required.
• Valid South Carolina RN License is preferred but not mandatory; pending licenses with proof of application accepted.
