This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts are available, both Day Shift (7a-7p) and Night Shift (7p-7a), depending on the needs of the unit.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans. The RN will also engage in patient education and support families during the hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient follow-up care.

Required Experience

Must have a valid RN license and experience in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Certifications/Licensure

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Hawaii is required.
