ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Petersburg, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with alternating weekends and holiday requirements.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical unit at our facility provides care for a variety of patients including those with COPD, CHF, total joint replacements, hysterectomies, and other general post-operative conditions. As part of our nursing team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and assisting in the recovery of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Assist with patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
• Collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize MEDITECH for accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a travel nursing role.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active RN license in the state of West Virginia or compact state license.
