ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Denville, New Jersey.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The position offers two shift options: 4 - 10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 5 - 8 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Additionally, there are 10-15 on-call shifts a month for STEMI/Stroke coverage.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education about upcoming interventions.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other interventional procedures.
• Assess patient health and respond quickly to any changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a valid RN license and have prior experience in a Cath Lab or similar acute care setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• NIHSS certification is required.
• Current Nursys license verification is mandatory for onboarding.
• Basic Pharmacology and Rhythm Interpretation Certifications must be completed prior to start.
