ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Denville, New Jersey.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position offers two different shift options: 4 - 10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 5 - 8 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Additionally, there are 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke coverage.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment. Your role will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and utilizing advanced technology to assist during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions during Cath Lab procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assist the physician during procedures.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate and timely records.
• Participate in the education of patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures.

Required Experience

• Current nursing license valid in the state of New Jersey.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab or similar environment is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Nursing License (Nursys).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
