Job Description
The Emergency Department at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is a 19-bed unit focusing on rapid assessment and treatment of critical illnesses and injuries. The team includes 26 FTEs and operates with dedicated staff members during both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage patient flow within the unit.
- Provide care for patients experiencing conditions, such as STEMI, CPR situations, lacerations, and orthopedic needs.
- Utilize Philips equipment and maintain documentation through the Meditech EMR system.
- Collaborate within the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- TNCC
