ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Tomball, Texas.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with a minimum requirement of 2 weekends per month.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide acute care and assessment for patients in a Level III trauma center, accredited chest pain center, and primary stroke center. You will be responsible for initiating IVs, blood collection, administering medications, managing blood transfusions, conducting patient resuscitation for adults and pediatrics, and providing care for behavioral health patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform acute assessments of emergency room patients.
• Initiate IVs and manage blood collection and transfusions.
• Administer medications and provide resuscitation as needed.
• Assist with intubation, splint application, and moderate sedation protocols.
• Care for behavioral health patients and apply restraints as necessary.
• Flexibly work in various roles, including triage and resuscitation rooms.

Required Experience

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• PALS or ENPC certification (one required).

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either PALS or ENPC requirement.
