ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Fort Mohave, Arizona.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Days: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. On-call requirements will be evenly shared with other OR RNs, usually starting at 5:00 PM.

Job Description

The Operating Room at Valley View Medical Center comprises 6 ORs and 1 Endo Suite, providing patient care primarily for adults (70% adult, 28% geriatric, and 2% pediatric). This role focuses on scheduled and emergency procedures, including C-sections. The hospital features new Olympus laparoscopic/endo equipment, including processors and monitors, and the documentation is managed through MedHost and CQI.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective procedures.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience

1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility, specifically within a surgical or operating room environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Compact RN license in Arizona.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred (PALS can be obtained on-site).
