ARMStaffing is looking for a Case Manager in Downey, California.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a Day Shift schedule from Monday to Friday (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM), with every other weekend required and a preference for every weekend. Holiday coverage is also required.

Job Description

The Case Manager will work within an acute hospital setting, focusing on surgical services, care coordination, discharge planning, and disease management. Strong emphasis will be placed on needs assessment and the ordering of durable medical equipment (DME). Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, Department of Health, and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and manage disease processes.
• Conduct needs assessments and facilitate discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management is required. Experience with MSSDU, PCU, IMC, or observation units is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted.

Certifications/Licensure

A valid California nursing license is required at the time of submission. Advanced EKG certification is also required, with a passing score of 80% or higher needed on the onsite exam.
