Day Shift, 12-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health will provide care to a diverse patient population across various units, including adolescents, seniors, and adults with both high and low acuity needs, down to age 8. This role will also involve care on adult IDD units and physical rehabilitation units, requiring flexibility to float to different units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients in inpatient settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience

Must have 2+ years of experience in psych nursing within an inpatient setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Handle with Care certification is preferred.
